This Privacy Policy describes how yuko ("we", "us", or "the Service") collects, uses, and protects information obtained from users of our Discord bot and website at yuko.gg. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect and process information necessary to provide and improve the Service:

2.1 Server Information

  • Discord server (guild) identifiers
  • Channel identifiers for configured features
  • Role identifiers for autoroles, reaction roles, and permission settings
  • Server configuration settings including prefix, enabled features, and thresholds

2.2 User Information

  • Discord user identifiers
  • Economy balances and transaction records
  • Experience points and leveling progress
  • Moderation records (warnings, bans, kicks, timeouts)

User data for economy and leveling features is stored per server. This data is retained even if a user leaves a server, to preserve progress upon potential return.

2.3 Message Information

  • Message content for logging features (only when explicitly enabled by server administrators)
  • Message identifiers for starboard, reaction roles, and sticky message features
  • Deleted and edited message content for moderation logging (when logging is enabled)

2.4 Website Information

  • Discord OAuth2 tokens for dashboard authentication
  • Session identifiers and authentication data

3. Purpose of Data Collection

We process your information for the following purposes:

  • Service Functionality - To provide, operate, and maintain the features and functionality of the Service
  • User Tracking - To track economy balances, leveling progress, and moderation history per user within servers
  • Authentication - To verify your identity and provide access to the web dashboard
  • Moderation - To enable server administrators to moderate their communities effectively

4. Data Retention

Server Configuration: Retained until the bot is removed from your server or until deletion is requested.

User Data: Economy, leveling, and moderation data is retained indefinitely unless deletion is specifically requested.

Message Logs: Retained according to server configuration settings. Subject to periodic automated cleanup.

Session Data: Automatically expires after a period of inactivity.

5. Data Access and Disclosure

Service Operators: yuko developers have access to collected data for purposes of maintenance, debugging, support, and service improvement.

Server Administrators: Have access to configuration settings and moderation logs for their respective servers through the web dashboard.

Third Party Disclosure: We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. Disclosure may occur only when required by law, to protect our rights, or to comply with legal process.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Data is stored using PostgreSQL databases and Redis caching systems with appropriate access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security!!!!!

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of Access - Request information about the data we hold about you
  • Right to Deletion - Request deletion of your personal data
  • Right to Rectification - Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to Opt-Out - Cease data collection by removing the bot from your server

To exercise these rights, contact us through our official support server. We will respond to valid requests within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Age Requirements

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13, or the minimum age required by Discord in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately for removal.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be announced through our official support server. Your continued use of the Service following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
